In the summer/fall of 2020 i navigated through the waters of a deeply challenging life-passage and initiation that resulted in the clearing and opening of my throat chakra, allowing me to access and transmit the frequencies of whale song on behalf of what i refer to as the Whale Nation.
Two years later, while drinking kava and singing with the whales in Joshua Tree, i received energetic permission from the Whale Nation to begin offering their song in service to others. Prior to receiving their permission, i had not yet sung whale song over another’s body with the didgeridoo. Up and until then i was preparing and in training to do so. Since then, i’ve continued to ‘study’ with the whales and move through layers of initiation.
For this experience, you’ll be resting in a deeply comfortable shavasana position — lying down with a blanket, an eye mask, and whatever else supports your full relaxation. Once you're settled, i’ll welcome the whales in the way i do, and begin to play the didgeridoo and sing whale song over and around your body, guided by my intuitive and energetic faculties.
This sound healing process helps to cleanse and clear your energy field and meridians; releasing energetic residue, remnants of what was, and lingering imprints. Others have described this experience as psychedelic.
Any number of possible things could happen for you. Some examples include: connecting with ancestors, deceased loved ones or spirit animals; receiving visions; stirring and moving stagnant pools of stuck emotion; extremely deep and rejuvenative relaxation; altered and lucid states of consciousness; organically emergent spinal adjustments; messages from organs or glands; connection with the joy and lightheartedness of your inner child…and much else.
The word didgeridoo was coined by Europeans to describe the sound of a traditional Aboriginal instrument. The traditional instrument that i use is a ceremonial Yidaki from the Yirrkala people in the East Arnhem region of the Northern Territory of Australia. i received this Yidaki from a dear soul brother who lived with; was adopted by; and made Yidaki’s with the Yirrkala and other Aboriginal people. This Yidaki was used for one year in their own personal ceremonies, not just made to sell…it is a VERY sacred Yidaki.
